Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: January 1, 2025
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, we want to be fully transparent about how SaaSLens earns revenue and how this relates to the content you see on our site.
What Are Affiliate Links?
Some of the links on SaaSLens are "affiliate links." This means that if you click on the link and sign up for or purchase a product, we may receive a small commission from the vendor at no additional cost to you. These commissions help us maintain and improve the site.
How Affiliate Links Work on Our Site
When you visit a tool's profile page and click a "Visit Website" or "Try Free" button, the link may contain an affiliate tracking code. If you subsequently sign up for or purchase the tool, the vendor may pay us a referral commission. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the vendor's website.
Do Affiliate Links Influence Our Content?
No. Our editorial content, rankings, reviews, and comparisons are independent of our affiliate relationships. We evaluate tools based on their merits, including features, pricing, user experience, and customer feedback. The presence or absence of an affiliate relationship does not affect:
- Whether a tool is included in our directory
- How a tool is ranked or rated
- The content of our reviews or comparisons
- Our "Best Of" list selections
- Recommendations in our guides and articles
We list and review many tools for which we have no affiliate relationship. Our goal is to provide you with accurate, unbiased information to help you make informed decisions.
Types of Compensation We Receive
SaaSLens earns revenue through the following channels:
1. Affiliate Commissions
We participate in affiliate programs for various SaaS and AI tools. When you sign up for a tool through one of our affiliate links, we may receive a one-time or recurring commission from the vendor. Common affiliate networks we participate in include direct vendor programs, ShareASale, Impact, and PartnerStack.
2. Sponsored Listings
Some tools in our directory pay for enhanced visibility, such as featured placements or highlighted listings. Sponsored listings are always clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Featured" so you can distinguish them from organic listings. Paying for a sponsored listing does not affect a tool's review, rating, or ranking.
3. Display Advertising
We may display advertisements on our site through third-party ad networks. These ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content.
Our Commitment to You
We are committed to providing honest, useful information. Specifically:
- We only recommend tools that we believe provide genuine value to our users
- We will never let a financial relationship influence our editorial opinions
- All sponsored and paid content is clearly disclosed
- We regularly update our content to ensure accuracy
- We welcome feedback if you believe any content is inaccurate or misleading
